Projekti Maria Petrou auttaa Datacrunchia maailman uusimpien tekoälyratkaisuihin ja infrastruktuurin demokratisoimisessa. Projekti helpottaa uusimpien tekoälymallien käyttöönottoa ja vähentää niiden käyttöönottokustannuksia. Projektin nimi "Maria Petrou" on kunnianosoitus Kreikkalaiselle fyysikolle ja matemaatikolle, joka innovoi uusia tapoja hyödyntää tekoälyä kuvantunnistamisessa. Projekti Maria Petrou toteutuu kahdessa vaiheessa, joista ensimmäisessä investoidaan laskentaklusteriin ja toisessa kehitetään palvelua, joka helpottaa huippuluokan tekoälymallien kehitystä ja käyttöönottoa. Tämä hakemus koskee laskentaklusteri-investointia.

DataCrunch rakensi Maria Petrou tuotekehitysprojeksissa palvelinklusterin, jota se pystyy tarjoamaan pilvipalveluna asiakkailleen sekä hyödyntämään omassa tuotekehityksessään. Projektin avulla DataCrunch pystyy palvelemaan uutta asiakassegmenttiä sekä palkkaamaan lisää henkilöstöä tuotekehitykseen. Projekti lisäsi merkittävästi laskentaklusteriosaamista yhtiössä.
